At Absorbine® , we know that the time you spend with your horses — whether in the barn or in the saddle — is truly rewarding. So we’ve developed a line of horse care products that helps ensure that your horses look, feel, and perform their best, whether on the trail, in the ring, or just hanging out in the barn — anywhere you share those special moments. It’s something we’ve been committed to since our founding more than a century ago, when Wilbur F. Young and his wife, Mary Ida, knew that there had to be a better way to care for their horses. It was that belief that led to the creation of the very first Absorbine® horse liniment. And the beginning of a legacy that has led to Absorbine® becoming “The Horse World’s Most Trusted Name® .” Today, whether it’s helping soothe muscle and joint pain, protecting your horses from biting and nuisance flies, caring for their hooves, or helping them look magnificent, Absorbine® is here to help. Like you, we’re dedicated to horse care. And we have been since 1892.

Blue Seal

Blue Seal Feeds began in 1868, when Henry K. Webster started a small grist mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, that would grow into one of the largest feed manufacturing companies in the Northeast. In 1988, Blue Seal Feeds was acquired by a predecessor of Kent Corporation to expand its reach with animal feed products from the Midwest to the East Coast.

In 2006, Blue Seal Feeds expanded its product line to include a focus on growing the By Nature® brand dog and cat food line. In 2008, Blue Seal Feeds acquired I. L. Richer, a major manufacturer and supplier of dairy feed products and services to the central and eastern New York dairy market. Also in 2008, Blue Seal Feeds acquired United Co-operative Farmers, a manufacturer and distributor of dairy, poultry and livestock feed in upper New England. Blue Seal provides unsurpassed nutritional expertise, high-quality manufacturing, efficient distribution, and superior service to ensure the success of its customers.

In 2010, Blue Seal Feeds joined with Kent Feeds, Inc. to form the Kent Nutrition Group-Feed Division, focused on serving commercial livestock producers, equine and small pet owners, and country lifestyle enthusiasts. The Feed Division leverages the innovation, knowledge, and performance of the two formerly separate companies to deliver unsurpassed products and services to customers throughout the United States and beyond.

In 1986, Cashel© Company originated with the goal of relieving the sore backs of English performance horses with a revolutionary therapeutic saddle pad. After much success devising saddle pads for dressage, jumping, show and racing, the company represented originality and exhibited state of the art product development always looking for problem solving solutions to the everyday equestrian.

After producing products like the English cushion, Cashel expanded their predominately English roots to cater to the western rider, offering therapeutic riding alternatives to generic western style pads. In doing so, many innovative products have made Cashel one of the most trusted brands of all horse owners. The Crusader Fly Mask™ is rated the #1 fly protection mask in the country. Throughout the years, Cashel continued to expand and strived to meet the needs of all horse owners, riders and competitors.

Today, Cashel manufactures products designed to make your ride safer, more convenient and affordable. Cashel is still making the same products they did in 1986, and are continually pushing the envelope of development to bring you equipment geared to meet you and your horse’s every need in fly protection, essential barn accessories and trail riding gear.
